This pictured captured this big black bear roaming the streets in downtown Gatlinburg, TN the evening of November 16th. It is common to see bears in and around downtown Gatlinburg.
This picture was taken around the Skybridge entrance, Ole Smoky Moonshine, Sugarlands Shine, Anakeesta, Ripley’s Aquarium and other popular Gatlinburg attractions.
You may spot bears in downtown Gatlinburg, but there are many other locations where it is common to spot bears. Usually the best spots to see bears are in Cades Cove inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or the Roaring Forks Motor Trail just on the outskirts of Gatlinburg.
